Near Tha Chang Pier are the Big Palace, National Museum, Sanam Luang and food market. The Chao Phraya River is also a great way to enjoy the sightseeing of Bangkok city.

Large guided groups are being funnelled through this area causing overcrowding, distress and hazard. It is a crush disaster waiting to happen.

Fairly simple stop without a lot of things around it (market, food stalls, souvenir vendors). Good to go to wat arun. Location is south of Thammasat university, not north as it is on Tripadvisor- north is Wang Na ferry pier.

It's yet an other pier like other piers but it's more popular, cause from here you can get to Wat Arun. You need to take a small boat which ferry you across the Chao Phraya river and you have to pay just 5 baht. there...More

Yes you can but you have to change the boat cause it s on an another canal
