I took the boat one way for 15 Baht and it was seriously a blast. I felt like I was on an adventure ride at a US theme park. The river ferry is mostly used by locals as a fast and cheap means of transportation....More

Next to the hotel we liked cruising on this river. The water gets muddy during the rains but we have a lot of boat options to love between places. Lots of restaurants and hotels are connected as well.

Just sit back and relax, let the river breeze touches your skin 💕 I always enjoy watching activities that happen along Chao Phraya River, especially during sunset period.

We used the river both days, what an experience, boats of all shapes and sizes making their way around the water. We took the orange riverboat to various stops along the river and then taxis back to the hotel. Must do when in Bangkok

We took the public transportation boat from the Grand Palace to Wat Arun and then to Saphan Taksin BTS station. It was very convenient and safe. The ride was scenic, as you get to enjoy the scenery on both sides of the river.

Both local and tourist boats are not friendly strollers. You may go for a private boat so that you have sufficient time to hop on and off the boat.
