This place is easily accessible and is in walking distance of Siam Square area and Central World. Even if you are not a Buddhist, you can see have a look see of this famous 4 face Buddha and take a few photos.

Erawan shrine is an iconic shrine and landmark in bangkok. Located near chit lom/ siam station, one can easily arrive at the destination via BTS. Now the shrine do not allow the burning of joss sticks and candles however devotees can still pray with them...More

This is a small iconic four faced Brahma shrine located in the corner next to the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel. Regular traditional dance performances here also draw in the crowds. Vendors selling flower garlands, incense and candles for offerings line the walkway of the shrine....More

I didn't know the exact reason. At first, I was looking for the lit candle for the joystick, and I found nothing until I saw the notice. It stated it is for health reason and pollution.
