This waterfall is an easy drive out of Chiang Mai. It has 10 tiers that you can easily walk to and you will see lots of people enjoying the waterfall. We also saw some cute kittens near the waterfalls which was a nice treat. Overall...More
There are 10 stops thorough trekking path. Total path requires around 30-45 min. Many people enjoy swimming at each stop. The water is cold and it can lower hot climate during daytime.
Trekking path is quite steep and slippery. It is good to wear comfortable...More
The first bit of the path should be closed. It’s covered in moss and all the wooden bridges are rotting. After I slipped I just turned back. Not worth it. There are much better waterfalls in CM with safer paths.

It varies on where you are going from in Chiang Mai (we were near the University which is ignored in guide books but is a beautiful place to ride bicycles) and if they can convince you into going to another stop where they get a cut if you buy anything. We paid 500 (it may have been 600) THB for two and just to go to the waterfalls and back. Plus entrance fee.
The food and drink there at the park entrance is not bad - not great but not bad. Bring water, of course.
