A wonderful, cultural experience. History and beauty abound. Mediate and party if you like, or look around and people watch. The architecture and history are amazing.

Nice little oasis in the middle of the old city of Chiang Mai. We paid 20 baht to walk around and see the buildings.

Starting at 5 PM, all the monks will pray. You van here the prayers through speakers all over the temple grounds. All the temples located there are beautiful and in good shape. A really relaxing and non touristic atmosphere.

This Temple is different in the way that they monks are more important than they Temple. Very pretty temples as well. A golden Buddha laying in a house is also to be seen on these grounds. Beautifull sayings van also be found around the place.

This sight is sacred to Buddhists and has a very solemn and tranquil feel. I enjoyed seeing all of the monks visiting there as well. It is filled with Buddha images donated from the faithful from all over the world.

Absolutely. You can walk to the Tha Pae Gate. I walked back and forth many times. The only problem is you will be sweating walking :)
