Wat Chedi Luang has been built for early age of Chiangmai. So apart from going there to make merit and all holy things, you can go there to see historical building and learn history.

Small little temple that is easily located on the Superhighway. It is obviously not going to be as fantastic of Doi Suthep but this temple is worth have a sticky peek at. It's ruins are fascinating and grounds are peaceful considering it's off a highway....More
