It's not a waterfall. This is not where you go to admire falling water, but it is an extraordinary place. Take an ice chest, your friends, family and loved ones on a hot day to chill in creek as water flows about you. There are...More

Beware!! They do elephant trekking at this waterfall. Horrific to see them chained with huge steel seats on their backs and swaying back and forth(they sway due to no social interaction) Very sad sight to see that upset our party. Time this barbaric industry was...More

The big signs of this place and the notion of it in all cheap tour offerings makes this place a touristic magnet. The people selling fruit and other food raised prices high, even for parking your scooters you have to pay. Well ok, lets help...More

We were driving by and incidentally followed the signs to visit the waterfall. Chanced on elephants trekking back to the jungle so that was a treat for the kids. However the itinerant untidy stalls, trickling waterfall and cloudy pool were disappointing. Not worth a visit....More

The best bit was the ride up on the roof of a 4 x 4! The waterfall itself is not big and the water is anything but clean. I would think a whole host of injections wouldn't protect you from the lurking yuks in the...More

The waterfall is fine, and nice for a swim. The elephant captivity is sad. Be aware of the merchants. I forgot my sunscreen for the day (foolish, I know) and one vendor had one brand of sunscreen. It looked legit and I didn't have another...More

Once you have parked and are on your way up to the waterfall you have no choice but to walk through an elephant trekking park. The sights we saw reduced me to tears, it’s absolutely appalling. The poor elephants have 4/5 tourists on their backs,...More

Yes it is safe if you just stay next to the waterfall and do not go deep to the forest.
