There are shops and restaurants throughout all the Old City. Though it is a must see, I was disappointed at the commercialization of everything here.

Just walk around and get the 'vibe'. Go to the Holy Sepulchre, compare the different atmospheres of the quarters, and travel back in time!

Must-see experience while in the old city of Jerusalem. Follow the Via Dolorosa from the Muslim Quarter and into the Christian Quarter, ending at the Church of Holy Sepulchre. Walk the streets and experience it.

Great bazaar to visit but mainly Christian memorabilia. (well duh!) Felt welcome and the shopkeepers seemed friendly. Didn't stop to eat so hope to do so next time. There is the site of Salahuddin Ayyubis residence where there was a mosque. The minaret still stands....More
