This park is often overlooked by local tour-guides, leaving it very peaceful for those that do visit. Two main Khmer monuments in various stages of dis-repair are the centre peice of the park, although the park in itself is a good enough reason to visit....More

Nice Khmer temple ruins, as mentioned previously does not compare with Ayuttaya or Ankor Wat but still nice ruins, If you get upset over dual pricing just stay in the car and get your wife to buy the tickets instead of not recommending a historic...More

Whilst this is not Sukhothai or Angkor Wat, in either scale or grandeur, the Khmer ruins are impressive and it does provide a pleasant & peaceful way to pass an hour en route between Kanchanaburi and Sai Yok.

The ancient Khmer ruins at the historical park are well worth a visit. From skeletons excavated to temples built from tile bricks, this is definitely worth seeing. The site is quite large so give yourself plenty of time to see it all.

This is the most Western fortified city of the former Khmer Empire. The premises are quite well preserved and explanations are good. There is also a little museum, but unfortunately, most of the items are replicas since the originals are at the national museum in...More

This Historical park is a short 30 minute detour from the Bridge over River Kwai with lovely scenery on either side. The Historical sites are very serene but in ruins and not well preserved as the sites at Sukhothai or Chaloem Phra Kiat. They have...More
