All reviews elephant shrine watch the sunset tour buses beautiful sunset southernmost point tourist buses great viewpoint andaman sea sun sets phuket island must visit place southern tip big buddha nice spot take pictures nai harn beach lighthouse
Really nice place, not to crowded if you go to the end of it - it’s ‘cause almost everybody will stay in the beginning.
Also good spot for taking pictures.
Up on a hill are statues with elephants.
Promthep Cape is d southern most point of Phuket. We took a 2wheeler on rent from near our hotel in Patong and rode to Promthep Cape. Its a 30 to 40 minute ride. On the way u can visit Karon Beach/Kata Beach/Karon View Point.
We went by scooter which is always a good idea, we had enough time to walk around at our own pace, interesting facts about the point, fantastic views, a few shopping stalls and great for photos. Definately worth a visit
We rented scooters so I can’t answer how much would it cost if you took a taxi. We found renting scooters the best transport method to go around the island but , of course , you need to be very careful. Good luck!
