A nice little small pier with a few restaurants nearby, cheap tuk tuks wait for you to take you to town. You would only be here to get to some of the hotels not accessible by land.

Pak Bara has been done up a lot since last visit. There are now a lot of amenities (new restaurants, cafes and bathrooms) clear signage and a lovely fan-cooled waiting room! It definitely makes travel a lot smoother now :-)

We found it very organized, and safe. Loved the ride. We think sitting at the back on the speed boat is best. On the peer the staff were very organized.
