It was nice, very chilly but the site was amazing. Would visit again. The staff were friendly and warned us that it was really cloudy but luckily we were still able to view the crater.

Enjoyed the drive up this behemoth as much as seeing the stunning blue lake at the top. Was cloudy at first but went and got a hot chocolate and the sun came out. Would definitely recommend if you have the time.

The drive up to the park at the top of the volcano is as interesting as the crater itself. The road seems to climb steeply for an age - I think 40 minutes or more we drove, climbing all the way. But that drive offers...More

We loved our drive to this National Park. Its all very beautiful w breathtaking views. You have to pay an entrance ticket. There's a parking lot and a cafeteria on the spot. So that's nice.

There is parking lot from where you can make short walks to the crater. If you put your luggage out of sight I guess it is completely safe.
