It is always good to go to the lake. The food is good and the drinks are fine. The new attraction with the animals made of hay is nice.

There are lovely little places to eat - right on the lake.... It is worth the drive and worth seeing the Huay Tung tao Gorillas - King Kong - made of straw

A nice place for picnic without the hustle of bringing food. Get food there. Transportation is something to consider though. Boating and paddling is available. Not advised for swimming But very very very serene

We stopped by the lake on a weekday for lunch, there were plenty of seemingly local people also there using the facilities. There didn’t seem much to be able to differentiate between the lakeside restaurants so we just walked for a while then picked a...More

We got an air-conditioned taxi for 4 hours for 1200 baht because we wanted a more comfortable ride. We did not negotiate the price. The place where you stay can most probably arrange for a taxi. At the far end of the lake... More
