We had a few hours spare so decided to visit this castle. It is definitely worth a visit, some of it is in ruins but there is enough of it intact to give you a good idea as to what it was like back then....More

Warkworth Castle is in a stunning location and is well worth a visit. When we visited it was raining which made it slightly less enjoyable. During our visit to the North East we also visited Bamburgh Casle and Alnwick Castles. Warkworth Castles offers less to...More

I love this castle, lots of stairs and rooms. There is an audio tour which I didn't do as I was with my son and he doesn't have the patience so I would like to return and do that at my leisure. Absolutely fantastic views....More

what a fantastic castle! We loved our visit here, probably one of the best castles we've visited. Although its a ruin, much of the structure is still standing which means you can explore. Our 3 year old loved finding little hidden rooms, corridors and staircases...More

The well preserved castle offers a trip back in time. Couple of rooms were furnished accordingly and bring the castle alive. Great for a weekend outing.

Adults are £5.80, children between 5-15 are £3.40, and a family (2+3) is £15.00. The Concession rate is just barely a concession at £5.20. If you have an English Heritage membership, entrance is free. I hope you enjoy it!
