You don't have to get the people there to drive you, you can walk up the sand dunes by yourself, which is actually much nicer. Unfortunately the sound of the machine steals parts of the romantic atmosphere. Furthermore you're not alone there anymore. It's a huge tourist place. Don't be disappointed.

Try to be here in the morning to be the first to see the sand dunes. Also good place for sun rise here. You could try sand sliding with a board or strong feeling with ATVs

A relatively short drive from our hotel in Mui Ne, the dunes are rather impressive. The lotus lake was not that impressive. We opted to walk in the dunes, though some visitors obviously enjoyed a drive through them.

The white sand dunes have been included in our Fairy Streams Tour. It was a great experience. The landscape is incredible and the drive with the Jeep at the coast was as well worth the trip. We booked at the white sand dunes a quad tour and that was great although quite expensive. The ride was thrilling and we had... More

If you want to see totally destroyed sand dunes crossed by hundreds of Quads and Jeeps, them go there. As a photographer I don't see any reason to go there again. All the nice sand dune patterns are destroyed by different vehicles.

As with the Fairy Stream this is free to visit as long as you can get there yourself. It is a bit of a way outside Mui Ne. There are lots of locals trying to sell you bits of plastic so you can go down the dunes but to be honest they were so steep it wouldn't be safe and... More
