A museum, dedicated to design and contemporary culture. The building itself is amazing architecture. There is a small permanent collection, and changing exhibits several times a year. Currently we thoroughly enjoyed the extensive and gorgeous collection of eye glasses, with an historical view of correcting lenses and optical equipment. This will run until the end of April 2017 and is... More

A museum in Israel that doesn't have a coffee place? A museum of design in Israel, in the world, that doesn't have a Museum of Design Shop? I rest my case.

OK, it's a really small museum, essentially three rooms and a hallway (but it's cheap and close to the mall, so you can then go shopping with the money you've saved). So it really depends on the exhibition. The Nendo exhibition is excellent -- well presented with really great pieces. I wanted to take home all the tables and the... More

The Holon Design Museum is housed in a beautifully designed structure by Ron Arad. Tye building alone is worth visiting. Inside is small but worth checking out the exhibitions. Only disappointment, there is no gift shop.

We enjoyed walking through. Apparently the museum houses 1 exhibit for a few months and then switches. We were there for the "space between" exhibit. Very nice. It is very peaceful and pretty within the museum. A small treasure in Holon. However, small is a key word. You can probably be in and out of this place in 1/2 an... More

There was some.lectures in Hebrew which i could not follow and an exchibition on art inspirated by sea salt which I failed to understand. Overall go to see the building and... More

The main attraction of this museum is it's striking building designed by Israeli London-based architect Rod Arad. Despite its limited resources the museum has managed to exhibit some of the most innovative and prominent contemporary designers. This is a visit for people who love visual arts and creativity, otherwise is of no interest.

I loved the museum, I took me about 1:30 hour to see it all, the highlights were the building and I really enjoyed the exposition of Nendo the space in between.
