Stopped at way back from beach at Brasilito. Small craft chocolate made on premises with local and owner plantation grown cocoa. Owner justifiably proud of his craft and product. Free samples. Home now and still enjoying it. Use GPS to find or keep in mind that it is not near the beach but off road on left side heading back... More

I saw the workshop program on tripadvisor and really wanted to try it and drag along my non-chocolate loving husband. He was glad he went. The factory is very close to town and the Westin. The program is not too long but packed with information and interactive portions. We ate parts of the bean from opening the pod to nibs... More

The Chocolate Factory is about 3 kilometers south and east of Brasilito, a delightful beach community itself. Not easy to find in a sort-of isolated mall, you need to go around to the south. I think it would be working for free the fragrance is so delicious in this open-to-see-all setting.

This experience was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in our group of five; 3 gals and 2 guys. It turned out to be much more fun and interesting than I had anticipated. Henrick has made me a "chocolate snob" as I know so much more now,

After spending several days on the beach, we decided to do some exploring and heard about the chocolate workshop held on Fridays. Henrik, the owner, gives an amazing explanation of the history of the cacao, the growing of it and finally the making of the chocolate. This is a real "get your hands dirty" workshop but, you get to lick... More

Henrick (the owner) was the teacher for the 1.5 hour Chocolate making class and did a great job. From the cacao tree to the raw bean to roasting, grinding, and making your very own chocolate this is an excellent event for all ages. Roughly $30 per person and well worth it. They also have already made chocolates of many varieties... More

Read some reviews here on TripAdviser and it sounded like worth visiting. The workshop is minimum 4 persons and we got some help to get the group of minimum 4 persons. The workshop was held outdoors in the garden by Henrik, owner of the Beach Chocolate Factory. A great workshop where we learned how chocolte is made. Cost 30 USD... More
