We walked to the top of calasetta and saw the tower! Amazing scenery from the tower, it's also so peaceful and relaxing! Lovely view and would recommend visiting during the day not at night as you don't see anything at night

This Spanish tower appears to have been converted into a home or some other domestic abode. You can walk right part and back down into Calasetta. Its nice place to sit at the end of the day.

I definitely suggest taking a stroll in Calasetta. Beside the city main square, a lot of nice streets will make the perfect scenery for a relaxing walk back home after a day spent sunbathing.
Remember to climb up to the tower (visible from everywhere!) to enjoy a panorama on this small city sourrounded by a wonderful sea :-)

There are so many Torre's around the South and Southwest of Sardinia that we burnt out on them. Our favorites were the one at Tharos in Cabras and Nora nearish to Cagliari, but there are many with good views from all of them.

You can see the sun go down over the next island from the tower. There is a art gallery which is open from18:00-21:00 and worth a visit before dinner. it also has a lovely view over Sottotorre beach.

la torre offers a grandiose view over the neighbour island san pietro, the near beach sottotorre and a little bit more far away the beach le saline. both are beautiful and a visit is worthwhile.
when the gaze wanders to the opposite side calasetta presents itself from the bird perspecktive.
the view into the small streets is very interessting and it is funny and terrifying at the same time to observe the groups of homeless streetcats. in the distance is the harbor of calasetta and sardinia behind it. in the westtside of the sardegnan coste theres a lot of heavy industry, what makes the wide view not so attractive.
generelly we can recomment la torre very much. the monument gave us a roundview over the area and helped for orientation.
