We really enjoyed my visit. Loved walking around the grounds and the food in the cafe was really good. We also enjoyed the museum, this was really interesting. I would definitely visit again, maybe during the summer when it’s a bit Warner. Highly recommended.

We've been to Renishaw a few times and always enjoy our visits. We've not been into the house, but the gardens are lovely. Lots of different areas to explore. It's a bit of a scramble to get down to the lake, but worth it if...More

Our recent UK visit included 15 stately homes, castles and palaces. This was one of our favourites, perhaps because the house is still a home, and both the home and the gardens reflect the quirky, artistic and cultured Sitwell family. Although you must book a...More

Gardens were lovely and staff very friendly. The gardens took some navigating as the map supplied was unclear. The museum would be great for those who know who the family were and had an interest in their writing

I visited Renishaw Hall with a group of friends. I'd pre-booked refreshments on arrival, a group tour, then lunch in the cafe, which allowed us time to have a walk in the lovely gardens, before departure. Our coach was met on arrival, and everything was...More

Hi, Yes, grounds are generally very easy access. I had just had a heart operation so did not want steep hills and I found the paths very easy going. There are more challenging steep slopes which are best avoided but the... More

Hi yes you can access the café without paying to view the house and gardens but make sure you check opening times as there may be reduced opening hours in the winter months. Enjoy
