the cliff is covered in statues and murals carved into the rock face. Done before modern tools is amazing and the boardwalk has great sites with the cliff on one side and the river on the other.

If you are in this area this place is a must to visit. Even though the ticket is a bit expensive (50yuan full price, 25 student ticket), it's worth it, if you like historical places. Many statues have been destroyed (or stolen) during the times, but there are still many left and it's really beautiful. I think it's possible to... More

Never would have happened if there was cable tv back then! One is able to climb the cliff face with the assistance of a narrow carved stair and pathway on cliff face and a low handrail. It is awesome to get up close and see the detail. Much of the paint is still intact.
