the shops and restaurants on stone step street are dated and boring. Quite a few shooting galleries and uninviting food stalls and shops

Is place has 400 years of history and has a great noodle shop close to the top with a classic old japanese style. Don't go here on the weekdays because Amosa of the shops and restaurants are closed. The weekend is best.

nice walk nice view. A lot of stairs to go up. I recommend you to do it early in the morning to avoid the crowded people. From the top of the stairs there is a path to go up to the top of the mountain...More

nice steady climb and near impossible at the end! plenty of restaurants, parking and pretty lookout. didn't get to get into onsen though!
