There are several attractions to ride and athletic fields on the slope beside Sagami lake. Those are all moderate that may be suitable for children.

Get there before dark and watch them turn on the lights. Some are on when sunset starts, but they turn on the rest and particularly the diamond water fountain, at dark. Good view of sunset as well before all the lights are on. It is geared toward younger kids, but older and adults who like Christmas lights will enjoy it,... More

Went with family, was absolutely beautiful and even had some rides and light performances to entertain the kids. Great place to spend the evening. Wrap up for the cold or rain if you go though. And stuff here is a bit steep - car entry to Carpark is 1,000¥, and then you have to pay a per pax charge for... More

This review is more about the campground than the park, which was beautifully lit up at night and features some thrill rides, a lift, a ferries wheel, multiple picture-taking spots, and some food and drink booths. My husband took advantage of their illumination plan, which included staying overnight in one of the medium-sized log cabins near the Christmas light display... More

Biggest illumination around Tokyo it's very beautiful and romantic. 6million LED decorate 1100 square meters garden. That about November from March.

I went there last year for night illumination. The resort’s location is a little bit inconvenient. You have to take bus there from station. In winter season, there is usually illumination opening to the public. The lights are so beautiful and it is strongly recommended for date.

Came here for the nightly illuminations on Valentine's day and it took about 2 hours to walk around and have dinner - they had special fireworks at 7 pm just to the left of the Ferris Wheel. There were only 150 so it took just a couple of minutes, but it was quite nice. The illuminations were decent - even... More

We visited for the light display in November. It was quite an impressive show! We went on a Friday evening just when the lights turned on at 5:00 p.m. and it wasn't crowded at all. Our friends who had visited last near said it was much more crowded on a Saturday evening.

The Sagamiko Illumillion is a fantastic illumination attraction, not only in the coldest winter, but from fall to mid-April. It's a quick local bus ride from Sagamiko Station. The restaurants are nice and they serve good food.
