Made a visit with the family and attended twice the November run through the cave - Cronotraversata del Maestro - over the 500 steps down and the 500 steps up. Till 2006 it was declared the biggest cave in Europe. Recommended.

Great experience. The guide did the tour in two languages, Italian and English. The cave is big, with impressive stalactites and stalagmites. The temperature is quite low inside, so bring a light sweater. Not advised if you have problems walking, as there are 500 steps...More
