Dedicated to ramen noodle cups, the museum showcases the mind-boggling number of instant ramen flavor variations that have come out over the years and a reproduction of the hut where Momofuku Ando first created them.

At Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum, you can know more about Instant Ramen. Do pop into the Drama Theatre for a cute introduction on Instant Ramen. If you can, join the Chicken Ramen Factory where you can hands-on the making of Ramen! Remember to make reservation in advance! We missed the reservation :( Other than the Chicken Ramen Factory, you... More

We had booked the making of Instant Noodles. Kids had so much fun and they love it. Great experience for us to learn how instant noodles being made. There is an instant noodles tunnel, telling us which flavour started which year and ended which year. Creating your own flavour for noodles cup, choose your own ingredients in it.

While in Osaka for the day my family took a taxi here. It was Spring Break so it was very busy. They have a small gift shop by the entrance. There is a large cafeteria style room that they take you to to purchase a cup in a vending machine. You sit down and decorate the outside of the noodle... More

Been eating this all my life so interesting to see how it all came about. There's no English captions on most of the stuff so you'll probably be done looking around in 15 minutes. What's kind of fun is making your own cup noodle and choosing your ingredients, it's 300 yen. If you want to make chicken instant ramen from... More

I love coming here because the museum is in a small, quiet town away from big crowds of tourists. I would recommend coming on a week day so that it's less busy. Usually though, the wait time to do the activity isn't very long anyway. I super super recommend trying to get a reservation for their My Chicken Ramen activity!... More

Most people travel all the way to ikeda just to visit this instant ramen museum. It is quite an interesting place but everything is in Japanese. But it doesn't stop us from enjoying our time viewing all sorts of instant ramen on display. There's also history on the instant ramen written in Japanese. Entrance is free. Should you like to... Although I would really like to read about Mr Ando's story, the displays are all in Japanese, including the short movie they have. They do however have the English audio guide for free (with 2,000Y refundable deposit) but I do not enjoy audio guides as much as reading. That aside, making your own ramen is definitely worth the 20 minutes... More

We went as a couple on a weekday afternoon. The last diy experience is at 3:30pm, so be there on time! I guess it was not very crowded so we were each allowed to have two ramen. You purchase the cup at the vending machine (300yen each) then proceed to sanitize your hands and there will be someone to explain... More

Made a train trip from Osaka specifically for this. Surrounded by little kids but didn't matter. Was super fun to take photos with the giant cup of instant ramen. And even though the line up was long, it's still worth going through the 'making your own cup of ramen' process. You need some change to put into the vending machine... More

Located within walking distance from Ikeda, Osaka. Good place for kids after visiting too many shrine . :) Just a 300 yen fees to make your own version of Instant cup noodle by drawing on the cup. Then, you will choose your own ingredient of your cup noodle and go through steps by steps the packaging process. When your own... More
