My wife and I toured this area a few days back. It is located about an hour and half driving distance away from Dibrugarh as well as from Tinsukia.
One of the highlights of this place is the wonderful colonial times Forest Rest House located outside the forest main gate. It is a Rest House built on stilts and is rather well furnished considering its remoteness. We did not stay here at night but stopped to freshen up and enjoy the serene setting of the Rest House. DFO Dibrugarh will be the allotment authority in case you would like to stay here.
Jaypore is actually a rain forest with thick undergrowth and lofty trees. You need an SUV to get into the forest since the roads need a high clearance vehicle. You could go about 5-6 kms into the forest and stop there just to savour the sounds of the woods.

Situated in Naharkatia area, jeypore rainforest is on the road to khonsa and Deomali. Very beautiful place but the road condition is horrible. Take a SUV with high ground clearance if possible. Avoid during peak rainy season. Total lenght os 28km(one way) upto Arunachal Pradesh border.
