The Temple is lush with greenery and water. There is a lot of steps that are easily manageable, but be sure you are hydrated and in good health, otherwise they should not pose an issue for anyone in moderately decent shape.

Mount Kawi is located closed to Ubud, 25minutes driving . Once you arrive at the parking you need to walk through plenty stairs but worth all the effort. There are many ladies offer sarong with cheap price. We had sarong included in the entrance fee.

Tucked away in a mainland of Bali, this temple complex is a perfect combination of spirituality, tranquility surrounded by green paddy fields. Definitely one of these places not to miss while visiting the island of gods.

Beautiful site and worth a visit. I do not recommend visiting if your not a "fit" person. 400 steep stairs going down means 400 steep steps going up! Have your water ready!

You have to climb a lot of stairs so be prepared. But everything comes with a price and that is the price worth paying for. Nice architecture to visit and know about it's history plus seeing the rice fields is a bonus.
