Nice lady at information office in Zonza told me that it is dangerous and only for canyoning enthusiasts with special equipment. BUT In my opinion it is nice trekking to see beautifull canyon. Receomended even with fit 6 y.o. children. Of course if you are brave, proffessionaly equipped, with guide - you can see a lot more, and have more... More

The hike can be a little tough but the reward is so big that you won't regret all the effort you made to get there. Don't stop at the first pool you'll see but keep climbing to see how beautiful the canyons of Bavella are.

purcaraccia is wondeful! the river is amazing, the water is not too cold, and the view is great. the way to reach the river is not straightforward, but it is not too difficult neither. my boyfriend and I are not used with trekking, and we didn't have any problem to do it. BUT we have the proper shoes for light-trekking.... More

Well, i wish i could find the website on which some well meaning illiterate had posted how to get up there..You see, this walk is ONLY possible if you were adequate mountaineering shoes! And have great stamina and health. Sure the first part is doable, though allready very narrow,... More

Canyoning in Purcaraccia canyon was fantastic. The path from the parking to the starting point was quite steep and difficult taking about 1 hour but then it was so much fun! The two 40m rapels were quite easy and suitable for begginners if acompanied by a professional guide. The water is very cold, so a shiny day is a prerequisite.
