Apart from the pretty lights at night, Ferris wheel and some of the shops I didn't find this place that interesting. I guess it's main appeal is the American theme. Stayed for a short walk, ate Blue Seal ice cream and enjoyed a quick ramen...More

With a Ferris Wheel, chili dogs and ice cream, Bowling alley and karaoke under the shadow of the Hilton Hotel, it is a day in stereotypical USA except you are actually in Japan. The shopping experience is not great, lots of tourist shops, non branded...More

Nice place, but i hate when the center of the place has to be a parkinglot. Why cant people walk a bit so that the area could be more compact. Now the cars take a lot of Nice shopping and restaurant area.

A lot of west-coast and Portland themes going on here. Like a west coast Theme park/ tourist trap. Great coffee and sandwiches to be found. A nice place to roam and relax. Watch the people. A lot of Americans from the base, of course. Very...More

Ideal place to relax with friends and family, with lots of restaurants and shops. The mood is cheerful and very american, but a lot of Okinawa people go there to enjoy the evening.

It's a nice place to walk around, but full of shops selling overpriced, junky souvenirs. We enjoyed having a place to stroll around after dinner, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to stop here.

This place was really built for the Okinawans, and not for foreigners per se, but it is still worth the trip. Good restaurants and entertainment. Parking is tight, but you can eventually find a spot. Well kept.

By far the local draw for tourism. Lots of interesting shopping and eateries. If you are nearby, this is a must.

The American Village consists of several blocks of shops that vary from restaurants to souvenir shops to video game centers to hardware stores, etc. There are many things for many people. A must stop if you are on the Island.

This self styled American village could do with some authenticity, American style done Japanese is more like it. Food is ok and just ok with a wild fusion of Japanese and Asian everything which is ok because it's Japan. If your looking for a fairground...More
