There are over 1400 wineries in the Mendoza area. Many are near Maipu just outside of town.Don Arturo's is a classic owned by four generations of the same family and over 100 years old. Most of their production is shipped to Kentucky in the USA,but some is sold locally.WE saw the vinyards, the loading hoppers, crushers, storage barrels and the entire process. This was one very... The tour guide was very informative but the tour itself was very short and concentrated in red wines only. Large history of the family and only 3 selections of wine. The facility is small which was a plus due to the damp weather, but the place to taste was smaller and there is no other place to wander around. Good... More

I visited this bodega with a friend on a tour and it was incredible! The guide spoke English which was great and she was very informative about the winery and its history. The wine tasting was generous and nibbles were provided, and the wine was lovely. A quaint little family run winery that was comfortable and lovely. Definitely worth a... More

I was here yesterday on a winery and olive plantation tour. This was the second place we visited. I liked the explanation and even though I don't drink alcohol, I could appreciate how wonderful the whole prices is. I could also get a hold of a few bottles to give to my boss and friends. I definitely recommend it. Take... More

The tour itself is just OK but the wine is not good at all, and they have a "special cuvée" from their daughter wedding. they said it worth 200USD but accept to sell it for 30USD because they like you... yeah yeah. If their cabernet sauvignon could be drinkable, their malbec has no length in mouth and is like a... More

I visited this Bodega as a part of touristic tour. Despite it was highly recommended as a "boutique Bodega", the visit was short, really unimpressive. The guide was really good and nice, but I was expecting more. Wine was ok, but not exceptional. Just a good place to visit if you do not know anything about wine production. If you... More

This is a cute place with a nice tour. It's family owned and had a lot of history. They only make red wine. The wine was decent.

Tour was great, the tour guide was extremely friedly, knowledgable and spoke clearly and explained the entire process of wine making to the point that our group knew exactly how to make wine afterwards! We had visited a much bigger bodega previously but we enjoyed Cavas de Don Arturo much more! The wine tasting was so delicious, our guide opened... More
