We’ve been to Destiladeras Beach twice over the past month, once with my wife and the second time with a large group of friends. It’s a beautiful beach and nothing else we’ve seen in the region compares to it. It’s not Caribbean white powder sand,...More

White sand, challenging an energetic surf ,has a pastoral impact on your 3 mile opportunity of a walk. Easy to navigate for all ages . Very family friendly. Keep your eyes peeled for the notorious whales and dolphins. We love the wave-soaring pelicans, as they...More

The beach itself is ok. If you drive there is a parking lot but you have to “tip” to park. The beach is fine white sand and fairly clean and there are vendors walking around selling food, although we didn’t have any. Water is nice...More

We were staying on the Bay of Banderas around Bucerías, but if you want to kick it up a notch for a day at the beach - make the effort and plan a day at Destiladeras. Best beach by far between PV and Sayulita.

This is a beautiful beach with clear water. I love swimming here. Great place to boogie board and swim--depends on the waves. Bring an umbrella or pay around $10 for a table with chairs and umbrella. The restaurant will serve you on the beach. Sit...More
