We reserved a September day with Tony a month in advance from Hawaii. The Burren is one of our best memories of our trip to Ireland. Our afternoon adventure was filled with rich historical/geographical facts that Tony shares throughout the expansive walking paths. His vast knowledge of the Burren is only matched by his passion to share it. We will... More

My husband and I along with my father were lucky enough to meet Tony and go on a walk with him through the Burren on our recent trip to County Clare. It was clear from the start of our journey that it was not just a walk through a new and interesting place with unfamiliar terrain. It was an eye... More

Barbara and I spent a memorable, beautiful day exploring the Burren with Tony. We saw beautiful scenery, we met delightful Irish people, and we made a great new friend. Spending time with Tony is like attending an outstanding university course in Irish history and current events. I am disabled, and Tony was enormously supportive and helpful. He was also kind... I have been on a number of Tony's walks and they have always been a great way to pass the day. Tony knows everything there is to know about the Burren, from Flora and Fauna, Place history, and population & landscape changes through history, to current practises of farming in the area. Tony is the man to consult. Ton'y walks... More

We spent about two hours with Tony and had a great time. The Burren is a very unique place on earth and worth seeing. Tony's knowledge of the geography, fauna, flora and Irish history was extensive and greatly enhanced our visit to this part of Ireland. Tony is very personable and it was a fun way to spend a morning.

Tour date - September 20, 2016 This was a very difficult review to write. I struggled with every sentence. I kept telling myself to write only the good but I realized that would a dishonest and disingenuous representation of our thoughts and feelings nor would it be helpful to anyone. The Burren is a place you must walk to absorb... More

One of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. Tony was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. He was well versed in the history, geography and agriculture of the area. It was interesting for us and our teenage son. We enjoyed the peaceful walk across the countryside and the history of Temple Cronan. I would recommend this to anyone interested in... More

It was quite evident that Tony Kirby has put his heart and soul into learning about The Burren and that he loves to share that passion with others. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and were so glad we had an experienced guide to show us the way. We highly recommend!

Tony's walk was outstanding. He led us on a walk through the Burren and provided insights into the geology, flora and history of this area. The area we walked was great in that we could see the surrounding area and how the Burren is laid out. Tony is knowledgeable and fun. I would go again!

The walk and guide with Tony really provided an insightful view of the both the past & present experiences in The Burren. His geology, archeology & botany knowledge brought the area alive. We also appreciated getting a wonderful tour based on our limited gear - no hiking boots! We have already recommended Tony to others.
