Alhama de Granada is a small town in a stunningly beautiful area of Andalucía. We were visiting the town for the day and passed the interpretation centre. A young lady from the centre came out to speak to us and invited us in. It's a small museum that covers the history of the town. It provides a "feel" of the place, rather than a full and detailed history. We found it interesting and well worth the visit. Many of the exhibits and explanations were in English, which very much helped. We saw a short film on the spirit and culture of Alhama de Ganada (moving and impressive) and there was an exhibit in a dark cellar devoted to a serious earthquake in the 19th centaury ... again ... it was rather impressive. The lady who first invited us in occasionally left the front desk to ask whether we had seen exhibits and gave us lots of help. We were immensely impressed by her kindness and enthusiasm. We very much enjoyed our short visit to the "interpretation centre"…
