You can’t miss the giant beaver in town, why not stop for a picture? It’s a little quirky but what else was BEAVERlodge supposed to pick for a traditional GIANT Alberta attraction tradition?!? It’s a great conversation piece if nothing else!

While on an extended road trip we drove through Beaverlodge Alberta and absolutely had to stop to see the beaver. The kids thought he was pretty awesome.

That huge beaver always brings a smile to my face. Always take a picture with it. Presently trying to avoid writing giant beaver puns. Come for the beaver but stay for the fun!

a giant beaver! Right on the main highway, you can't miss it. The information centre itself was closed when we were in town (typical of small town tourism offices) but the beaver was kinda neat. The beaver was built when the town celebrated it's 75th year of incorporation in 2004. The sculpture is 15' high, 28' long and supposedly weights... More
