The valley itself is lovely and well worth a walk.

Don't bother to attempt the difficult descent to the beach. It really isn't worth it. Playa de... read more

We were told it was easy, did the walk in canvas shoes but it had been raining and it was very steep and slippery, large rocks and bolders to climb over, not a good idea without boots and perhaps a stick!

Don't bother to attempt the difficult descent to the beach. It really isn't worth it. Playa de Formentor is so much nicer if you want a swim.

We walked this from the town, it's about 40 mins each way, and quite testy for the last few hundred yards. The bay has been cleaned up, but there's no sand, and it drops in quite steeply. We were also plagued by wasps so headed...More

Did this walk on a grey day, very enjoyable and not too taxing. Not many birds about that day, but a booted eagle seen at long range.

This walk took about 45 minutes each way to a quiet cove. Lovely scenery and although the cove at the destination was pleasant there is nothing much there. Plenty of goats and birds to see. The car park at the start ha a very rough...More

This is a gem, best visited before anyone else gets there - before breakfast. In summer it can get quiet hot which is another reason for going in the early morning. Take plenty of water and enjoy the peacefulness. Being so early we were able...More

Definite must if you are in the area. Take plenty of water and hat as it's quite exposed. Flat easy terrain most of the way, bit of a steep scramble for the last 15 mins down and in turn up from the beach (fine for...More

Lovely 1 hour walk from Port de Pollenca to a cove beach. Lovely walk through the valley. Nice cove beach at the end. Crystal clear safe water for swimming. This cove filled up with yachts and boats after around midday. My tip would be to...More

We probably should have done this walk early morning or late afternoon (Mid August) however it was a relatively easy walk that took us 45 minutes with two children (8 and 6) albeit hot. There is no shade on the along the way. Take plenty...More

The route starts on the west side of Port de Pollensa from the ME 220 Formentor Road on the right side of Aparthotel Oro Playa. You'll find a signpost there to Cala Boquer. It only take half an hour there. Trainers are... More
