The fellow (can not remember his name) that created this place is a treasure. He starts with the Greeks, or before, and with demonstration, charts, and actual instruments creates the world of mostly western music. Please do NOT miss this.

An absolute delight sitting through a lecture by Giuseppe Severini, in a room lit only with candles and a small fireplace to keep one warm. It was like stepping back in time several centuries. Learning how the first string instruments were made and continuing up to modern times was fascinating. Mr. Severini is sadly one of the few Luthiers left... More
