Nice little day out

We had a pleasant half day tour on The Little Fun Train. It wasn't expensive and picked us up very close to the hotel. We did the Seven Villages tour which was half a day and it... read more

We took 3 separate trips. We enjoyed the trips very much. The guide does a good job informing you about the area you are viewing and giving some history. We visited an olive oil plant that was informative on the process of obtaining olive oil. A visit to the store allowed us to buy oil at good price and the... More

we booked the ticket from caldera kiosk outside and the train came right on time..We booked the 7 villages tour...As a tour well it doesn't have much to see ,you see country life ,but it was a really great experience..The tour guide was amazing with a great sense of humor and the most colorful guiding ever and the driver was... We had a pleasant half day tour on The Little Fun Train. It wasn't expensive and picked us up very close to the hotel. We did the Seven Villages tour which was half a day and it was fun driving around in the train. You don't see anything spectacular but it was perfect for a seven year old to keep... More

This is a must if you want to see some of the interior of crete away from the coastline. The tour to the olive press was interesting and the cream I purchased has cleared up my excema on my hand in 3 days--incredible! We then went on up through Therisso gorge which was both fascinating and beautiful. The guide gave... More

Really enjoyed these fun train rides, so much that we booked two trips on them. They are usually a few minutes late but make sure that you are getting on the correct one for your trip, as there are often two or three passing at similar times. They are a little bit bumpy off the main roads but it all... More

WE first came across this train whist attempting to drive to our hotel, whilst obviously designed as a tourist attraction especially for those with small children it does provide a fun and conveient way to travel up the PEO Kissamou Chandion road. Warning not suitable for those with back problems.

Not as much fun as it looks, quite hard and jarring to sit on the seats for long and dusty/smokey. Tightly controlled seating arrangements so you can't chose where to sit or with (or without!) whom. The vineyard tour was not what it seemed - 10-15 min at vineyard and majority of time at a convent that did not interest... More

The Road trains run several trips each day to various locations South West of Chania, with pick-up at various locations, all €18 per person.A good introduction to the area, gets you off the beaten track, with a good guide.Unfortunately, our train was packed, couples having to be seperated to squeeze them on,resulting in an uncomfortable ride & numb bum.If they kept seating to three people per... On recommendation we did the Grand Canyon trip and we were not disappointed. Stopped off at the olive oil factory first then up through the gorge. Amazing views and scenery our guide tour was also very good explaining everything in detail. We had time for a light lunch at the top of the gorge before driving back down. Well worth... More

Fun days out, quite a selection of places to visit. Each costing €19. The white trains are comfortable to ride in.
