Don't waste your days to visit this scam. 5€ for the parking, 10€ for the ticket per person, 1€ per person for the most unorganized bus on the planet to visit a magnificent building with absolutely nothing inside, zero, empty! Nice view btw.

It costs €5 to park then another €1 return by bus to the castle. You could walk up but some parts of the walk are on the road as there is no pavement. An additional €10 to enter the castle making it an expensive trip...More

Well preserved and beautiful castle that has a semblance of fortification but did not appear to be designed specifically for security but rather for beauty. Intact but empty, with great views all the way to the coast and the surrounding areas. Not easy to get...More

30-45 min from Bari and Trani, de "Crown of Puglia" can be visited. Regular entrance fee is 10€ plus 3€ for audio guides. These are necessary as the exhibition itself is only in Italian. A walk through the very well restored castle takes around 30...More

The castle is impressive, especially against a clear blue sky and the history fascinating. It did seem a lot to charge €10 each (you only get a discount if you bring children) and the audio guide is extra

Castel Del Monte is a fascinating castle built by Federico II around year 1240. It has a unique octagonal shape and is home to several legends and stories. I strongly suggest to take a guide through the rooms, to get the best flavor of each...More

An incredible place to visit! It rightly deserves its UNESCO award. Impressive from outside but equally so inside. it is well worth a visit to take in the view from its elevated position over Murge territory. A MUST SEE if you are in the area.

We travelled around 40mins from a town outside of Bari to see this castle. The castle itself is beautiful and the setting is wonderful. I cannot fault the castle and I can appreciate why it has a world heritage status however... The entrance fee of...More

Not really set up for that. Cold, poor lighting. Many more special places for an event in Puglia.
