Silence is truly golden and you really learn what is means when people say it's so quit you can hear your blood pump. I love this place.

This is a quick and easy day trip from Spangdahlem, about 20 mins away. The Hammered Abbey is Ok, nothing amazing. The gift shop sells products made by the Abbey like beers, wines, jams, etc. There is also a fishery but it was not open...More
