Die dargestellten Themen sind vielschichtig und bilden über Natur, Tiere, Glasherstellung und Stadtgeschichte viele Dinge ab, die man über den Bayerischen Wald und die Stadt Zwiesel erfahren möchte. Auch das kostenfreie Wasser und der Kaffee samt Gebäck im Eingangsbereich laden zum Verweilen ein. Kurzum: eine tolle Beschäftigung mit Mehrwert. Zu beachten: nur Barzahlung.

Große Austellung, viel Wissenswertes. Kann man sich auf jeden Fall mal anschauen. Bei Vorlage der Gästekarte erhält man 50 % Rabatt auf den Eintrittspreis.

Was für eine Überraschung! Wir besuchten das Museum wegen der Sonderausstellung, für die Künstler - angeregt durch ein kunsthandwerkliches Stück der historischen Sammlung Zwiesel - neue Glaskunstwerke erschufen und hier dem Vorbild gegenüberstellen.
Wir erwarteten ehrlich gesagt nicht mehr als das Niveau von Laienkünstlern (wir kennen das von unserem Heimatort in Norddeutschland). Und wurden völlig geflasht! Von handwerklich beeindruckenden Arbeiten bis zu künstlerisch starken Objekten war alles vertreten. Definitiv - und Gott sei Dank - nichts für die mundgebissene Kiefernschrankwand. Danke für diese Ausstellung.

Ich war wirklich begeistert! Didaktisch gut aufgebaut, lehrreich und unterhaltsam, für Jung und Alt geeignet. Besonders interessant fand ich die Filmchen an den einzelnen Stationen, die das Leben der damaligen Bevölkerung eindrucksvoll wiedergeben. Auch die Glasabteilung hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Also das Museum ist ein Besuch wert! Über 3 Stockwerke lernt man die Natur und das Leben im Bayerischen Wald kennen! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen! Auch über Zwiesel lernt man viel kennen! Von früherer Zeit!

Ein sehr gepflegtes Museum, sehr schöne Exponate, tolle Sonderausstellung, das alles für einen super Preis von 3€.Einfach unglaublich.
Am besten man parkt hinter der Kirche, läuft um die Kirche herum Richtung Friedhof,
50m auf der linken Seite ist das Musem.
