This makes a great day trip from Pesaro. My husband loves Pesaro's beaches, I want activities, so I took bus #130 from the bus/train station in Pesaro, about one hour which drops passengers off right at Castello di Gradara's parking lot. Walk straight up hill...More

This castle makes you jump in the past and live the life of one of the famous Italian families during the Renaissance. You start the visit with n exposition of weapons (mainly swords) and then you can explore the rooms of the castle. Very recommended.

The neon display over the entrance seemed a little incongruous, but the rest of this castle was more traditional. A great historic building to explore with fantastic views and excellent bars and cafés.

Visited during the magic castle festival and it was so beautifully decorated along the cobbled streets. We ate lunch at one of several restaurants in the castle and really enjoyed it. The little church soon after you enter the castle walls is worth a visit.

There are several parking lots in town and most of them are free. Just follow the blue "P" roadsigns.
