I went this the travel company Exodus so that rip worked out inexpensive for what we were getting. Of the 11 safaris our group had sightings of tigers on 9 of them and on 9/10 there was the "close up and personal" view of a tiger with her 4 sub adult clubs. In the afternoon we saw a sloth bear... We could spot 3 tigers in 1 of 4 safaris. You need to be lucky to match timings. The Maruti Gypsy safaris are a bit expensive but worth if you can spot wild animals.

This is a lovely National park with the opportunity to spot Tigers in the wild. The morning drives get very chilly and the afternoon ones very hot. We were fortunate enough to spot a Tiger but was at a distance and hidden in tall grass. Our driver informed us that much better sightings are the norm and we were just... More

Please don't consider this review of the Tadoba Core zone, this review is only for Tadoba Kolara Buffer zone. For Core zone I will rate 4 Star for nature lover. I visited Tadoba Kolara buffer zone on 7th Jan'2017 evening safari. It was not a planned or online pre-booked visit. As I was visiting Chimur Taluka, so I thought to... More

This is a dense forest filled with bamboo trees. The jeep plus guide will take you on safaris for 2300 rupees, plus 200 for an slr camera. You may see a tiger if you are lucky and if the guide is knowledge. Luckily our guide knew his stuff. He stopped the jeep in the middle of no where. After remaining... More

Visited in 23/24 Dec 2016. Very cold weather restrict animals to come out from hide outs. You will feel chill in morning safari. Though flora & fauna is fantastic in Tadoba but sighting cannot be guaranteed. It's purely on your luck. We did all 3 safari from Moharli gate but practically no sighting in all 3. Do remember there is... More

We came to visit the Reserve in December 2016. The Jungle is very beautiful and we could also sight 2 Tigresses and 2 Tiger Cubs apart from a few other small animals, birds and insects. There are four gates for the Reserve. The one closest to Chandrapur is Moharli Gate. This gate the maximum permits for allowing vehicles inside (around... More
