This ferry is a great way to explore both the Inishowen peninsula and the Causeway Coastal Route. The journey only takes 15 minutes and you can step out of your car and admire the stunning scenery of both Donegal and Derry.

We have journeyed up to Magilligan Point 3 times from quite far away to find that the ferry wasn't running. However - there was no notification on the website as it stated that the ferry was running as usual. Extremely disappointing. Website updates are vital....More

Highly recommend this alternate route between the Inishowen Peninsula and the Causeway coast of Northern Ireland. A nice route west from Northern Ireland, UK to the South. A short sail, operating all day in season, just drive up and get in the queue. Great views.
