One can visit its interior. When the tower was built in 1567 (the wood does presume a construction date of 1447/1448), at that time the railway embankment was not there and was the tower used for defending the Wisper-mouth and the in 1556 built Wisper-bridge. Due to the dangerous currents on the Binger Loch, as Lorch was an important turn-around... More
