It is all about in the detail. In our tour, it was a privilege to have Josep Mata with us to find out and dig in what made this winery as one of the finest in cava making not only in Spain but worldwide. We followed him and take a look into the family's vineyard just located 20 km away... More

My husband and I have been in many wineries around the world and i think this visit has been one of the best. It is a small cava business but the quality is excellent and the visit was tailor made just for us. We learnt a lot thanks to Mari (the visit guide). Extremely recommended.

We had a good visit to Cava Recaredo. It was a very expensive and a little pretentious compared to other cava houses within the region but we are glad we stopped in. We had a reservation for the full tour and 3 tasting visit. The tour is very long but we did get to taste the grape juice before it... More

Dear Amanda, Thanks for your comment. Rest assured that we’ll take it into account to improve and make future visits even more enriching. We feel it’s important to have enough time to share our philosophy as winegrowers, answer any questions, and chat with visitors without being in a rush. During visits to our family-owned winery, which last about an hour... More

We had a brilliant our of the Recaredo cava site. Loads of information by our guide Elena who spoke perfect English. Really interesting and the tasting was lovely. Very special as a birthday treat. Definitely recommend.

This is one extraordinary wine maker. From the 'cava' underneath the building, to the traditional biodynamic method of their wine making, this is one of the most interesting cellar we have ever visited. We had the luxury of our own private tour which was very insightful. The tasting afterwards underlined the high quality of the traditional process of making the... More

Just a forty-five minutes outside of Barcelona is the family-run Recaredo vineyard that has been producing wonderful brut cavas since 1924. We took the tour hosted by two of the current generation and the pride in their history and the quality of their cava was evident. Plus, the town of Sant Sadurni d'Anoia offers many other historical and gastronomical treats.... More

I made a reservation for the flower tour of this organic and biodynamic cava winery. What a treat! learned a lot about what it means to be both organic and biodynamic, about the grapes used and how it is produced. We did the Freixnet tour in the morning and it was very interesting to see the contrast between a winery... More

I have toured and tasted at a number of sparkling wine producers including Krug, Meet,, and Dom Perignon and Recaredo provides the best tour I have experienced. They offer four levels of tours. We opted for the third level "Flowers" tour that includes cellar degorging and tasting their next to top bottling. All of their Cavas are quite good but... More

The quality of this visit and attention afforded to us by the people who really care (the "Recaredo" family themselves) exceeded expectations on all levels and it would be my first recommendation for a visit to any cava in Sant Sadurni. Thankyou so much.
