My wife and I enjoyed our visit to the Castle of Santa Barbara. We were accompanied by a guide who provided us with excellent information. The elevator up to the castle was convenient, and senior citizens (over age 65) rode to the top for free....More

Well worth the 2.80 euro entry fee-lift ride from beach to castle way above the city. Fantastic view over the city and surrounding area, make sure you wear an hat and put on the sun screen. Great to walk around and soak up the atmosphere....More

Loved our afternoon at the Castle. The views are amazing. Great to wander around and had a nice jug of sangria at the restaurant!

We used the lift to go up and walked down the old city wall route which was difficult to find.Good cafe and English translations on all exhibits.There is a new zizag pathway down which ends at the "Water Museum"...no English translations here very disappointing. Interesting...views...More

Fantastic views of city _ walked to top one route and down by another. Lift access hard to locate. There is a public road that goes right to the top so accessible for disabled Cafe and toilets also available.

You can get the coach up Walk up Or catch the lift which is a little hidden. We got the lift. We didn't pay and somehow got into the castle for free. But on the way down there was a massive queue in the tunnel...More

As previous answers have indicated, it is possible to get a car into the castle and there are a limited number of parking bays for vehicles conveying people with a disability and there is a lift available which will tahe you... More
Hi, are dogs allowed up to the castle, either in the lift or if not when we walk up?

It's called kiosk. Right in THE middle of THE castle. Go up with THE elevator and walk to THE main center of THE castle. THE kiosk is in THE corner.
