Want to hike Rostro Maya? At sunrise? Want a viewpoint away from crowds? Want to gain knowledge of history from a local point of view? Need transportation? Want a guide who speaks 9 languages? Look no further than "Guatamala sur Mesure" : Henry and his team !! My husband and I are "scratching" the inside of 60 years old - we both thoroughly enjoyed our time with Henry. Funny, safe, informative, knowledgeable. Fast and easy communication and confirmation via WhatsApp. What more can you ask? Oh you want a coffee or tea, biscuit and fruit at the top of your hike? ... Henry has you covered!! Don't hesitate.. book today! Daniella y Juan de Canada 🇨🇦 Maltiox 🙏gracias

It's not often that a tour experience leaves you connected to the people and places you visit, but Authenticity Travel has does just that. Twice now, I've booked with them to tour San Juan la Laguna (November 19) and Santiago (February 20). Each trip was incredibly personal, with Sara planning based on what I'd like to learn and tailoring the experience.
When arriving to kick off our day, it was clear that she and our guide, Benjamin, understood expectations about our adventures and they exceeded them with flying colors. With visits to organizations and businesses that were on and just off the beaten path, it's clear that without their guidance these incredible initiatives could easily be overlooked. Sharing a blend of information surrounding history, religion, beliefs, culture, and more I walked away from each trip feeling more connected and appreciative of the communities, as well as a strong sense of wanting and understanding of how to support them.
Thank you again for such memorable experiences and for showing a side of Guatemala that most hope for, but don't always have the opportunity to explore :)

I did the ancestral tour of San Juan with Benjamin. It was the most unique hike I’ve been on. We trekked all over the surrounding areas of San Juan- visiting various historical sites. Benjamin shared so much interesting information about the history of San Juan, the Mayan people and modern Guatemalan politics and economy. It was really great. The hike itself was beautiful and I learned so much about coffee and so many things that grow in San Juan. Benjamin was very knowledgeable, polite and helpful. I highly recommend!

Excellent and well run tour. Good contact with local communities, Sarah was very attentive to the needs of the group and flexible with the structure.

We were a party of 15 from 12 years old to 85...
Each one of us enjoyed it greatly!
Guadalupe at the textil tour was excellent, kids did get “unhooked” their devices :) and everyone curiosity was at its best!
Then we did the honey tour which was as good as the textil one!
After that the cocoa one! We maybe don’t believe me but... as good as the two first one!
We all get back home with a much more apreciación for local artesia and handmade products.
Go Guatemala!
