Very simple museum. We visited it because it was included in the fee of the "blue ice hike". We have spend 5 minutes there, I would have felt sorry if I would have payed for the entry.

From the huge windows you have a great view of the valley leading up to the Nigårdsbræen and the surrounding area. The staff is friendly and helpful.

A stop over if you are visiting the Glacier. Unique looking building with plenty of information about glaciers. Can be missed if you know about Glaciers.

We visited the glacier center on our way to a guided glacier hike. We thought the exhibits were interesting, though we didn't spend a lot of time. We appreciated having a wide choice of drinks and ice cream after the hike.
