The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.

Really visiting the Tokyo Quilt Show here
Jan 2020
Great venue for the quilt show. Easy to get to from the Tokyo Dome Hotel, very near a metro station. Lots of seating and food choices around the stands. Security was very good and quick at the entry to the venue. ATM on-site could dispense cash to international visitors.

We spent almost whole day here. There are foods from different part of Japan. It’s like one-stop shop to tour around Japan. The shows are fantastic too! Simply amazing!

It was soo good!! So many presentations! It was awesome to see some part of japanese culture! And the food!! Oh my! So many food! And everything so tasty!! I loved! I wanted to go everyday haha. The only thing that I found difficult it was that there isn’t a lot of thing in english.. if the person who is selling cant spek in english is hard to understand what it is selling.

Furusato Matsuri Tokyo dome 2020

Must visit event for any tourist coming to Tokyo. Great way to get an impression of all areas in Japan. Either through the informational booths or the vast amount of food stands. We left the the event with full and satisfied stomache and bags of food to bring home.

Great food and lots of booze!
Jan 2020 • Couples
This was a great food festival with food booths from around JAPAN. We went on a weekday and there were tons of people. Weekends must have sucked. The food was awesome and there are so many drinks to choose from. When you need a break, watch the shows. There are coin lockers to store your coats but many used there coats to save seats at the place where the shows were at. Kind of pissed me off seeing tons of empty seats except for the coats.
PROTIP: Buy you ticket in advance and skip the long line to buy tickets. Luckily I saw the sign at the ticket booth before waiting in line. I couldn’t access the email from my phone but they were prepared with a list of names and gave me the tickets by showing my passport.

Bring enough cash as the food isn’t all that cheap.

I would go again

Great event to try local Japanese food and sake and lots of dry booth. Pity that we could only get there at late night and should spend more time there. Definitely will come back next year!

Taste different foods from all over Japan!
I had an amazing time here being able to eat different foods from all across Japan. The venue is huge and you can’t eat everything in a day! Will definitely go next year again!

Great place to watch Japanese baseball! Its quite different from the American spectating experience, because of the enthusiasm of the fans, singing songs for all their favorite players, and not least of all because the beer vendors who are TOTALLY different from American beer vendors.

One of the best experiences of my life! We watched Ichiro’s farewell game in Tokyo!
Seattle Mariners vs Oakland Athletics!

I’ve been to a lot of MLB games, but the food and the constant beer flow in Japan was amazing here!

The Japanese fans are super passionate about this sport! Great atmosphere!
