This garden, a central feature of the grounds of the Hotel New Otani (constructed in time for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and the tallest building in Tokyo when built), is a samurai garden dating back 400 years. While Tokyo is blessed with many such gardens, the water features of this garden--particularly the approx. 5 meter tall horseshoe-shaped waterfall--are both unique... More

We spent a few hours strolling around and soaking up the atmosphere. Everything you'd expect from a Japanese garden.

Beautiful and extensive. Largest koi I've ever seen. Waterfall adds dramatic sounds. Oasis in a major world city.

This is a beautiful garden to walk through and a key reason to stay at the Hotel New Otani, The paths wind you through a well kept garden that must be 10 acres. It has gorgeous koi ponds and a beautiful waterfall.

I visited the garden during my stay at the New Otani Hotel, and the garden was charming. Really good to be visited in particular for the amazing cascade
