We were lucky enough to see Paul McCartney in concert here. This was something of a religious experience for my husband who is Beatle mad. He appreciated that he was seeing Paul in the very same venue The Beatles had performed in back in 1966....More

What surprised me at this place was not only the tradition local sport and culture presence, but also the interactivity between families and multi nation people in the same place. Great view from all sections and chairs, great acustic and confort for viewers. I watched...More

Opposite the Yushukan, take the additional time to walk, see and awe the architecture... very nice walk through the park, with full sized moats and hundreds of feet high side walls... making this place a true castle converted with the Budokan... Good place to take...More

It is an iconic venue, however, it definitely needs some updating. The drop down ceiling, the not well working AC system, having said that, the venue is small, so pretty much all seats are good. Been to Tokyo Dome and Saitama Arena and they are...More

The world kendo championships were held here and I've heard the likes of Eric Clapton in concert. Check out Kitanomaru Park where Budokan is located, a beautiful area.

There's a park nearby so maybe after walking to it you can rest there, plus the Science museum is also close.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers totally lagged here, but Seikima II and Perfume were both on top of their game.

Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around
the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in
Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a
photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old
Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this
day, and there are long-standing restaurants with
geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
